How Kerux125 Complete Delivers Value for Employers
Kerux125 Complete is designed to address three of the most critical challenges employers face today—compliance, cost control, and employee engagement:
1) Complete ACA Compliance (Part A & Part B)
Kerux125 Complete is structured to satisfy both Minimum Essential Coverage (Part A) and Minimum Value Plan (Part B) requirements under the Affordable Care Act. This comprehensive approach helps protect employers from potential ACA-related penalties.
2) Cost Efficiency Without Compromise
Our innovative, compliant funding strategy is designed to help employers achieve full ACA compliance without increasing employer costs or negatively impacting employees’ take-home pay—delivering a financially efficient solution that supports your bottom line.
3) Meaningful Employee Engagement
Kerux125 Complete goes beyond basic wellness or MEC-only offerings. It delivers a robust, true insurance solution that employees value and actively use—driving higher participation, improving satisfaction, and strengthening your overall employee value proposition.
The result is a smarter benefits strategy—one that ensures compliance, controls costs, and supports a healthier, more engaged workforce.
YES. Kerux125 Complete provides employees with access to a wide formulary of commonly prescribed generic medications at no cost. These medications are available at over 70,000 pharmacies nationwide, making it easy and convenient for employees to get the prescriptions they need.
For a complete list of covered medications, please refer to our formulary.
With Kerux125 Complete, an employee's benefits are funded using a pre-tax deduction under Section 125. This reduces the employee's taxable wages, which can lower the amount of federal and payroll taxes they pay.
An employee will notice additional line items on their pay stub -- a 'Kerux' line and 'Reward' line --reflecting this structure, but the key benefit is that the employee's net (take-home) pay often increases due to the tax savings.
Important: While the format of an employee's pay stub may change, their overall compensation is not reduced—this program is designed to help an employee keep more of what they earn.
Kerux125 Complete delivers a comprehensive benefits experience built around two core categories:
MVP Medical Insurance Benefits
Our Minimum Value Plan (MVP) provides essential medical coverage, including doctor visits (copays may apply), hospitalization, ambulance services, and preventive care as required under the Affordable Care Act (ACA)—along with additional covered services designed to support your healthcare needs.
Preventive Care & Wellness Benefits
We go beyond traditional coverage by focusing on prevention and long-term health. Employees have access to health coaching, wellness screenings, immunizations, annual physicals, and other preventive services designed to keep you healthy and reduce future risks.
Enhanced Health Support & Innovation
Kerux125 Complete also includes access to advanced tools and specialized care:
• PredictiMed™ – A leading AI-driven platform that identifies and helps manage serious health risks before they become major issues
• Upswing Health – Unlimited virtual orthopedic care to help manage joint pain and musculoskeletal conditions
Together, these benefits create a proactive, comprehensive healthcare experience—focused not just on treating illness, but on improving overall health and well-being.

Legal Commentary: ‘Pay For Play’ is generally a term used, inappropriately, for ‘double-dipping’. Double-dipping is where a taxpayer deducts a legitimate medical or other expense and then uses those expenses to validate the use of that same expense in a Section 125 plan.
The benefits listed in the tax savings side of the Kerux125 Complete plan have been validated to exceed the 213(d) value of the cost of participation, plus are not part of the insurance coverage.
What is the catch I am missing about the Kerux125 or Kerux125 Complete plan?
You may say, "It all sounds too good to be true."
Kerux125 Complete has gone through the most stringent scrutiny to make sure it meets ALL regulations, and its documents are written correctly in accordance with the IRS tax and DOL laws. It is compliant and valid.
Legal Commentary: When it comes to addressing the validity of the Kerux125 plan, Section 125 plans have been in place for a number of years. The key to the Kerux125 and Kerux125 Complete plans is how the “wellness” plan documents and compliance are structured.
Double-dipping occurs when the same payroll dollars are claimed for multiple tax benefits, violating IRS regulations.
Does the Kerux125 Complete plan transactions result in “doubledipping?”
No.
The Kerux125 Complete plan uses a pre-qualified “package” of 213 (d) expenses that exceed the allocation of the Reward to each qualified employee. If the employee uses another plan to pay for something in the Kerux125 package, then it could cause an issue. However, Kerux125’s package is
designed so this does not happen.
